“The Spectrum? What the hell is that? Oh, it’s what you limeys call the TS2068? Yeah, I got me one of those. I’m using it as a signal controller for my railroad. Yeah, I’ve been into trains since I was a boy. Especially those gas-guzzling diesel machines, they’re my favourites. Seeing one of those beats tearing across the Midwest at a hundred miles an hour, it’s a sight to behold, I tell you. That’s why I’m building a new rail setup, just to give other people the gift of that vision, of seeing man triumph over the elements. When I’m done with Iraq, there’ll be diesel-sucking engines criss-crossing the desert everywhere you look. It’ll be a thing of beauty, especially when I’ve got a little more room out to the east. Eisenbahnraum, you might call it. Oh, you have an urgent appointment? That’s fine. I’ll see you guys again real soon…”
