Superman/Batman – Public Enemies Redux

Superman/Batman - Public Enemies Redux cover

Jeph Loeb’s Superman/Batman is one of the worst comic books ever written. Over the course of a twenty-five issue run, there is precisely one issue which does not feature superheroes fighting each other. Vast tracts of character history are dropped as though they never happened, characters that are supposed to be dead are dropped into stories without explanation, and on top of that these stories are paraded as vital to the continuity of all the major DC books.

This stupidity was prevalent in the first six issues. While the animated Justice League was giving us well-written and thought-out entertainment, DC Comics were giving us Superman and Batman punching their way around the world for no reason at all.

So I rewrote it completely.
