Spawned by the horror that is Batman Annual 25, this is a near-complete rewrite of that story. The worst piece of storytelling ever is dropped in favour of something that is based in the world of Batman, even if Batman still isn’t really in it.
Mistaken by several hundred people to be an official DC release, this rewrite led directly to the rewrite of the first six issues of Jeph Loeb’s Superman/Batman.
