Relic Raider Preview

June 19th, 2009 by Nathan

Surprisingly I’ve not spent the entire first half of this year vegging out and watching The Jeremy Kyle Show. I’ve actually been learning C# and how to program the XBox 360. Here’s a video trailer of my current project (albeit from a couple of months ago, so it’s only representative of gameplay and I now have to make another one):

That actually looks like a lot of fun!

    I’ll definitely buy it…oh wait, I don’t have an X-Box so I won’t.
It’s the thought that counts though right? :-)

Normally yes, but in this case it’s all about the money!

If I get time in the second half of the year, and I’m not entirely sick of the bloody thing by that point, I might do a PC version. (Odds are I’ll be entirely sick of it though, and I have got a beat-’em-up to finish too.)

First of all, I bought the game and I like it alot, second where did the music come from? Is there somewhere I can get a copy of the music on Relic Raiders?

  4. Nathan Says:

    Glad you enjoyed it!

The music is by the excellent Professor Kliq. There are four of his tracks in Relic Raider; Moth Returns, Configuration, Mindcrawl and Tickle Me Pink. He’s a Creative Commons musician, so you can download all those tracks and many more from his website.

Excellent music is an understatement :) I hope you’re planning to do more games. The Indie game selection almost all sucks :( Almost.
