Three! Three! Three!

Dr Kawashima’s More Brain Training on the Nintendo DS is a great little game. It’s educational, but it’s fun at the same time. There’s only one small problem with it – every time I try to draw a three, it claims that it’s either a seven or a two. As you can imagine, in speed-based minigames this makes for some annoyance.

“It’s a goddamn three!” is probably going to end up on my tombstone.

  1. I couldn’t get through the whole video. It made me want to punch that smug, useless prick in his smug, useless face. That’s right folks, if you can’t speak properly, nobody can understand you, let alone a handheld games console. What’s more, you can skip the bits that use voice recognition.

Thanks, though – Watchdog have made me angrier than my (evidently) crappy handwriting ever could.

  2. Don’t worry, I’m stuck playing frigging Phoenix Wright, which can’t seem to understand me bellowing “OBJECTION!” at the top of my lungs!

And you KNOW how loud I’m irate, as do plenty of Americans on XBox Live. Why don’t they understand; I’M ON YOUR TEAM GODDAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I was playing Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass and felt a bit stupid blowing air onto the DS to make some torches go out. Then I realised you could just prod the microphone bit with the stylus. There’s always a shortcut (unless you’re in the one-way system in Liverpool, in which case you jolly well shouldn’t be).
